FAQ: MyFitnessPal and the Samsung Fit 2, Gear S2, Gear S3, and Galaxy Watch
Samsung and MyFitnessPal announced their partnership in January of 2017. Members can now link their Samsung Fit 2, Gear S2, Gear S3, and Galaxy Watch with their MyFitnessPal account on Android for easy access to specific info from their MFP account on their device.

How do I set up my MFP account on the Samsung Device?

What languages are supported?
We will support all languages, on the band, that are also currently supported within our MFP mobile apps. These include Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Danish, Dutch, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, and Tagalog.
What information can I see from within the MyFitnessPal Galaxy Wearable app?
There are three information screens within the band that are updated throughout the day. First, you'll see your goal summary page, then a pie chart breakdown of Macros consumed, and finally a current count of your steps for the day.
How do I navigate through the app?
Swiping left or right will allow you to access the three screens offered within the Galaxy Wearable app.
Can I use the MFP app on my Samsung Device without my phone nearby?
Unfortunately, no. The band app is a "tethered experience", meaning that it needs to access your phone via Bluetooth to pull data and does not store or update info locally.
Can I set a Steps goal?
At this time, we do not publish your specific steps goal within the Galaxy Wearable app, only your current steps total.
