Fitbit Sync Delays and Interruptions - RESOLVED

Hi there,

Our apologies if you were experiencing any issues with Fitbit.  Fitbit and MyFitnessPal sync are now back to it's normal state.  

Starting Friday, 6/22, our team noticed an issue causing information to not sync between MyFitnessPal and Fitbit.  We addressed the root cause of what was stopping the sync shortly thereafter, but there were still side effects causing our sync request queue to back up.  The backup was intermittently causing significant sync delays.  We continued to investigate to resolve these continuing delays, and then, once we had them addressed, monitored to make sure that the integration was stable.  

Please also note that sometimes when there is an interruption sync, the Fitbit data for the day of the interruption may be lost. We worked to try and prevent this, but it is still a possibility with the nature of the issues that occurred.  If you are missing any unsynced data from previous days, we do apologize for the frustration.
