I am not able to comment or like on any new friends posts. It takes a day for me to be able to, and it's a little frustrating. Is this a bug or intended?

Sorry to hear that you are still experiencing the issue and for the inconvenience that it has presented. Would you please please click here to reach us via email and provide a couple usernames of friends that you are experiencing the issue with. Also, please let us know a bit more about what you are experiencing. Are the comment and like buttons there and not responding or are they not being displayed? If possible please include a screenshot if it would help illustrate the issue.

Are you still working on this known problem? From the questions I see it has been about a month since first reported. I just came back after a long absence and cannot comment on anything in my news feed. Let me know if you want me to send an email with the friends' names. Thank you.

Thanks for posting. We’re currently investigating the issue. While we should be good on usernames, would you please let us know how you normally access MyFitnessPal, i.e the iOS or Android app, or the website? If you are using the app, please let us know what model device that you are using, the version of it’s operating system that it is on, and which version of the MyFitnessPal app is currently installed? We appreciate your help with collecting the helpful info.

I am noticing that when I use the website then I cannot comment or like a status update. I have to go to the user profile. I don't have the issue when I use the phone app

What model device that you are using and the version of it’s operating system it is running?

I'm having issues with this as well. I'm on a Samsung S 5. It says "Likes are not available at this time" and there is no way for me to comment. It works fine from the desktop.
