Hi,

I just spent 20 minutes composing a message and when I hit send it said there was an error. Too bad I did not do a cut & paste before it was gone. :( I still cannot send a message.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us and apologies for the lost message. Would you give us some additional information in order to better understand your situation?

-What is the exact verbiage of the error you receive?
-Does this only happen via web or does it also happen within one of our apps? If it does happen within the app, which one (iOS, Android)?
-Some information about when it happens via web: What is your web browser and browser version? And does it happen in only that single browser?
-If it happens within the app, what type of device and OS do you have installed on your device? Also what is the MyFitnessPal app version do you have installed?

-What is the flow you’re taking to send the message? Are you going through My Home > Friends, then locate your friend, then click “send message”? Or are you clicking the envelope icon at the top of the website, then clicking the green “compose message” button? Or are you clicking the envelope icon at the top of the website, then clicking the blue “compose message” text above your inbox line?

I am unable to reproduce this in my account, so all the detailed information you can provide will be very helpful in investigating.
