Posting to a profile page vs newsfeed gwenbk — Jul 20, 2016 01:05PM PDT

I don't see the difference yet both are mentioned. It all looks like newsfeed.

I am talking about friends posting to my page. I see posting to profile and posting to newsfeed both mentioned. I don't see a difference.

In Newsfeed settings there are options for "writing on someones profile page" and "commenting on someone's newsfeed". Ok I see on a friend's page there is a "What's on your mind" box at the top of her newsfeed and there are boxes for comments to exisiting posts. Now I get it. Thanks you.
