Garmin Connect Sync and Calorie Adjustments NicoleMichael62 — Aug 08, 2016 11:02AM PDT

I just got a Garmin Vivosmart HR two days ago and I am having issues everyday trying to get it to sycn with myfitnesspal. Sometimes the step counter doesn't work so I have to delete the MFP app and reinstall (I did this for the both days I've had my tracker). Now that I got the step count to sync, I am not seeing any calorie adjustments from all my steps. It basically stays in 0.

Hey thanks for posting your question. Sorry for any confusion regarding your calorie adjustment. The calorie adjustment is not showing your tracked exercise calories but rather the amount by which your total calorie burn for the day has exceeded our calculation for your day to day calorie burn. This means that your adjustment line will show as 0 until you have earned the extra calories in the form of an adjustment.

If you would also like to track your steps with your device, please open the Steps tab in the Menu screen and select it as your source for steps tracking
