How do I post a photo in the news feed? Arizona_C — Aug 31, 2016 04:31PM PDT

Hi,
How can I post a photo in my news feed?
I've trained well this Summer and I'd like to share a photo with my friends. I have an Iphone 5 and computer connexion.

Thank you!

Hey thanks for posting your question. Once you have added a photo to one of your weight entries in Progress, tap on the image to view it and then click share in the upper right. Choose the border style that you would like and click Next to go to the Status Update screen. Here you can select to Share with: MyFitnessPal members or with your friends only. You may also opt to share it with facebook, twitter, or send it via text message. Once you have chosen your media preferences, click the checkmark to share it. Please keep in mind that the community guidelines also apply to shared newsfeed photos.

All images on the site, including all profile pictures and images posted in the forums, should be work-place friendly. If you would like to review the complete guidelines before posting, please click here

Warm Regards,

This is ridiculous! It shouldn't be so hard to post a photo! I have been trying for the past half hour to post one and can't find the "progress" link anywhere! I can't get the MFP app to install on my phone, and on my PC there is literally NO way to post a photo in my news feed. I don't understand why this process can't be simplified. Any ideas for me try?

Hi ThatUserNameIsAllReadyTaken,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us and apologies for the confusion. Progress photos can only be uploaded from within the iOS and Android apps, not from the website. This would be why you cannot post one from your PC. However, once posted, progress photos are viewable from all supported platforms.

Hope this helps clarify! We wish you the best of luck in meeting and maintaining all your fitness goals!

Best,

Ripley
