Calories consumed not showing in Garmin Connect edhurlburt — Sep 12, 2016 11:02AM PDT
Hello - The last entry I saw for this issue was 4+ months ago, so I thought I'd get it going again.
I have multiple Garmin devices, and have had Garmin Connect/MFP integration for years.
The calories i log as consumed in MFP are not transferring to Garmin connect.
Any updates as to when this will be resolved?

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Our apologies for any issues you are having with the integration. Would you please take a minute to make sure your profile information (such as your height, weight, gender) and time zone settings are correct in your Garmin Connect account and matching what you have entered for your MyFitnessPal profile.
Please also note, once you connect the programs, only future information will post, past information will not transfer over. Also, if your issue is related to your food intake not syncing correctly from MyFitnessPal to Garmin, at this time there is an error with the sync if you previously renamed your meal categories on MyFitnessPal. If you change them back to the default settings, this should correct the problem for now.
In order to troubleshoot further issues, it is important to know which type of tracking your device is providing. While the Vivofit is counting your total calories burned for the entire day, the other devices, such as the Forerunner and Edge trackers, are tracking your calories burned while doing an individual exercise. The exception to this is the Forerunner 15, which has the ability to do either.
When you are using the Vivofit or Forerunner 15 (for all day tracking), once you have linked the accounts you should see a “Garmin Calorie Adjustment” line in your exercise diary on MyFitnessPal, however, if you are using an individual exercise tracker, you should see new activities, completed after the link is established, as individual line items in your exercise diary. Keep in mind, when using an all day tracker, your adjustment will show 0 until your tracked movement has exceeded what we have already given you credit for when calculating your calorie goal.
If you are not seeing the appropriate data syncing between the accounts, please check, in both programs, to confirm the accounts have been successfully linked. When you are logged into our website at www.MyFitnessPal.com, you can open the Apps tab where you will see your connected apps listed on the right-hand side. On a side note, please make sure any additional app partners you may be using along with Garmin, are linked with MyFitnessPal only and not also connected to each other.
Next, please then confirm your activity is successfully reaching the Garmin Connect website. If your calorie burn is showing on their site, it should then be sent to MyFitnessPal. Although this can take up to 15 minutes, it generally moves much quicker.
If your data is reaching the Garmin site but not being sent to MyFitnessPal, please try disconnecting and relinking the accounts. To unlink, return to the Apps tab on www.MyFitnessPal.com and click on the Garmin connect app’s icon, then Disconnect. Also go to your account on Garmin Connect, and confirm the accounts are showing as disconnected there, if not, you may need to also disconnect on the Garmin end as well. After, go back to Garmin and relink the accounts. Your new activities or calorie burn should sync over as previously described.
