When will you allow connection with the new Misfit Ray? kmckean444 — Sep 16, 2016 06:28PM PDT

My Misfit Shine died and I bought a Misfit Ray assuming it would synch to my fitnesspal like the Shine did. Sadly...that doesn't seem to be the case. When will this integration take place? I'm lost without it!

Hey thanks for posting your question. We get the data from the Misfit app rather than the tracker itself. If your device is sharing your info with the existing Misfit app, then it should be passed on to MyFitnessPal. That being said there is currently an issue with linking accounts. Although the Misfit app will show the accounts as being linked, however, they will not show as connected in the Apps tab in MyFitnessPal. If you tried to connect a new Misfit account or unlinked and relinked your previous account then that would explain why things aren’t making it over. We have opened a ticket with our integrations team so they can investigate the issue further.

We will update our Known issue page for integrations when the issue is fixed: https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1824975-known-issues-integration-partners

Once that issue is fixed, if your Ray is sharing your steps and calorie burn with the MIsfit app we would expect them to start making their way over to MyFitnessPal.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding as we look into it.

Warm Regards,
Logan
