Active Calories not synching from Healthkit Nielkrit — Dec 14, 2016 11:02PM PST
Hi, when I try to link Active Calories in Healthkit to write data to MFP the MFP app option does not feature any longer. How can I link that again, I was able to do it approximately 6 months ago but the option disappeared recently. I re-installed the MFP app a couple of times but no success.

Hey thanks for posting your question. If you had already previously linked with Health from within MyFitnessPal, and would like to revisit or change the sharing options, you will want to visit the Settings app on your iPhone. If you visit “HealthKit Sharing” in the MyFitnessPal app after setting up HealthKit, it should show you instructions for finding these settings, as follows:
Launch the iPhone’s “Settings” app, then tap “Privacy” then “Health.”
There you will find the options for changing the permissions that govern MyFitnessPal’s sharing with HealthKit.

I do not see MFP listed in Health under Privacy in Settings?
Kind regards, Niel.

I now see MFP after I fiddled with some settings on my phone. I still do not see Active Energy option in the permissions. This is very strange as I used to sync all this data from Healthkit to MFP app 6 months ago without an issue. Everything else is howing there except Active Energy??

Thanks for following up with us. On your phone you should be able to open the Settings app, tap Privacy, then select the Health app, click on MyFitnessPal, and see the Read and Write options the two apps. Under Read options you will have three settings for your Activity: Steps, Walking + Running Distance, and Workouts. Be sure that all of these are turned on to allow your activity to sync over.
