Fitbit steps not syncing into MFP Cstafford99 — Jan 04, 2017 09:57AM PST

Why can't I get my steps to sync from my Fitbit app to MFP? It is frustrating as I cannot track my burned exercise calories. I have tried logging out of both accounts, revoking access and disconnecting the apps.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I have reviewed your account and everything seems to be syncing as expected. I can see a step count and a daily Fitbit adjustment in your Exercise Diary, most recently today, as of 11:05am. Are you not seeing this within your account?

Hi There, I seem to be having the same issue where my fitbit and MFP apps aren't synching in either direction.

Hi Delikins,

Thank you for taking the time to post your question.

Your account is showing on MyFitnessPal as having an expired access token, meaning Fitbit has revoked access.

However, it should be easy to fix.

To fix this, log into your Fitbit account, click the gear icon and choose “settings”.

Once inside the settings, click the Applications tab and locate MyFitnessPal. Once you find MyFitnessPal click “revoke” access.

Once you revoke access on Fitbit you will need to go back to MyFitnessPal and relink.

Additionally, once relinked please make sure you have Fitbit chosen as your primary step source within the MyFitnessPal app, which could be causing the adjustment not to come through. Would you please select Steps from the app menu and choose Fitbit as your primary step source.
