Special Physician Monitored Diet thurzalou — Jan 05, 2017 11:24AM PST
I would really like for a post to be generated after I log in my calories for the day. The program is 800-1000 calories because I am being monitored by a doctor, and I am doing so in a safe, scientifically proven method. I don't need a projection for the day, but I would like for a post to be generated so that those who are doing this program with me (its the Ideal Protein program), can see my journal, including my doctor. Is there any way to get this feature?
You should at least allow this feature to Premium members. I pretty much only upgraded because I assumed that it would fix this problem.

Please accept our apologies for any confusion in no longer having your day show as completed on your News Feed. We recently made changes to our diary completion feature, in large part, to discourage the abuse of MyFitnessPal by individuals struggling with eating disorders.
If you now fall below the National Institutes of Health recommendations of less than 1000 calories for women and 1200 for men, the 5 week projection will no longer appear, and the News Feed will not show as completed for the day.
We do understand some MyFitnessPal members may be on a lower calorie plan recommended directly by their doctor or nutritionist. We are still looking into better ways to help accommodate these special circumstances.
While we truly regret that these changes may have negatively impacted your experience of using MyFitnessPal, we do hope you’ll understand our first priority is to make MyFitnessPal less appealing to persons who are causing themselves harm. Please know we’re reviewing your feedback and looking at ways to improve your experience at MyFitnessPal, while prioritizing the safety of our most vulnerable users.
If you believe you may be suffering from an eating disorder we encourage you to seek help. Please reference: https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1575987-eating-disorder-resources
We appreciate your understanding in this change and do hope you can continue to find benefit in using our program. Please let us know if you have any additional feedback or we can be of any further assistance.
