It's been 5 months and this is an important aspect of the MFP user experience, as logging food is one of two main actions taken on this platform.

On a related note, does MFP have an issue tracker where users can suggest, vote on, and monitor feature requests/bug fixes?

Thanks for posting and sorry for any trouble. Please take a minute to confirm that your sorting option is set to alphabetical.

On the website, and in our iOS and Android apps, various sorting options are available, once you’re viewing the food lists prior to logging items to your Food diary.

On the Web

The sort options are located to the top right of the food list tabs. Click “Default” to change the option to “By name.”

In our iOS app: While following the add food flow, click Settings, in the lower left, with the Gear icon.

In the Android app: While following the add food flow, tap the 3 dot icon, in the upper right, and select Sort Order to have your results shown alphabetically vs Most Recent, or select Meal Filter to have it show you results from All Meals vs just the meal that you are trying to add to.

Please follow up with us if your Sort Order is set to Most Recent and you are still experiencing the issue.
