project 5 week weight loss djb4138 — Jan 14, 2017 06:32AM PST

when I complete the daily dairy the app shows projected weight in 5 weeks. Is that a rotating 5 wks or 5 wks from start. I'm loosing weight but the projected weight is staying practically the same at the end of every day.

Hey thanks for posting your question. The 5 week projection is letting you know that if you ate & exercise exactly the the same as you did today, for the next 5 weeks, this would be the result.

Every time you record your weight in our system, MyFitnessPal checks to see if you’ve lost 10 pounds since the last time your goals were calculated. If so, we’ll ask you if you’d like to reset your goals based on your new weight. We recommend logging your weight once a week.

Please note, if you lose weight, your calorie intake may decrease. Think of your body like a car: the more it weighs the more fuel it requires to get from Point A to Point B. The less weight, the less fuel is required.
