Synch exercise data with fitbit JSfit54 — Jan 23, 2017 06:48AM PST

I track exercise with my fitbit exercise tracker, which auto tracks calories burned. I have fitbit connected to myfitnesspal premium account and the calories expended during my workout tracked via fitbit is not synching with myfitnesspal-so the calories available metric is inaccurate. I'm not interested in tracking each and every exercise I do in the app, as fitbit is already tracking what matters! Feature request!

Hey thanks for posting your question. When you integrate with fitbit, they send us your total calorie burn for the day, up to the time of the sync. Any exercises that you track individually in fitbit are included in the total calories that they send us, so you will not see a separate line item in your MyFitnessPal diary.

The calorie adjustment is not showing your tracked exercise calories but rather the amount by which your total calorie burn for the day has exceeded our calculation for your day to day calorie burn. This means that your adjustment line will show as 0 until you have earned the extra calories in the form of an adjustment.

If you would also like to track your steps with your device, please open the Steps tab in the Menu screen and select it as your source for steps tracking
