Hi adgrayiv,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I can see that you do not have Fitbit chosen as your primary step source within the MyFitnessPal app, which would be causing the adjustment not to come through. Would you please select Steps from the app menu and choose Fitbit as your primary step source. Or, from the web, Apps > Step Source, and choose Fitbit.

Hope this helps! We wish you the best of luck in meeting and maintaining all your fitness goals!

Best,

Hello again adgrayiv,

We recommend logging all exercise on MyFitnessPal only with the exception of walking/jogging/running. Fitbit is designed to best capture your movement through space, things like walking/jogging/running can be easily captured by the Fitbit device. However, items like golfing, Spinning®, or rock climbing are best logged on MyFitnessPal.

When you log any exercise on MyFitnessPal, you will choose a start time and a duration. We then send that data to Fitbit who removes that time period from their data and replaces it with ours. You can read more on the topic here: http://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1084231

The quantity and frequency of the sync between MyFitnessPal and Fitbit will depend on the activity tracked and logged within the programs, as it will sync anytime an item is tracked that needs to be synced between programs.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Ripley
