Connection from Fitbit to MFP keiichi_m — May 10, 2018 10:09PM PDT

I did the procedure to link my Fitbit account to MFP. But I don't see any exercise information showing up in the log on MFP.

Do I need to do something else to make it look at the exercise I am recording with Fitbit?

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. For Fitbit, you will need to also set it as your Steps source before any data will sync. To do this, tap More>Steps>Fitbit in the MyFitnessPal app.

For exercises logged through Fitbit, these will not sync to MyFitnessPal as separate exercises, instead the total Calorie burn from those exercises will be added to your daily total and sent to MyFitnessPal as one number as part of the adjustment details.

Details about the calculation of any adjustment can be viewed by clicking the small “i” next to the adjustment in your Exercise Diary (on the full website), or by tapping the adjustment itself in the Exercise Diary of the MyFitnessPal on the apps (you may need to tap the adjustment in the diary and then again on the next page depending on your app version). If you do not see a line that says Fitbit adjustment in the cardiovascular section, then there may be a problem with the sync. However, if you do see this line, then it should be syncing correctly, even if it says 0.

OK - thanks - I set it as the Steps source and will now see if it starts to sync.
