Multi device food diary not syncing artistmama8 — Jun 07, 2018 01:32PM PDT

When I use me phone to enter food it doesn’t show on my iPad. When I enter it on my iPad it adds it on my phone but if I already had that item entered on my phone then it doubles it. When I delete the duplicate from my phone it erases it from my iPad. iPad and phone are not syncing. Just started happening in the last two days. Both devices are up to date with latest versions and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Help please.

Thanks for posting and sorry for any trouble. Would you please also let us know what model devices you are using, what version of the iOS each is running, and which version of the MFP app is installed on both? Since the sync goes through the website to pass on the info from one device to another, would you please also take a look to see if each device’s entry or deletion is being reflected on the site?

Yes, my phone is android Samsung galaxy s7 with app version 6.37.2-10948 and using iPad Pro with app version 7.37.1.22021 and iPad entries are going to website and phone entries are not. The problem started with yesterday’s dinner and noticed it at breakfast today. I checked for updates and both stores say they are up to date.

Thanks for following up with us and sharing the additional information. Let’s try uninstalling the apps on both devices and then checking the diary on the website making any necessary corrections, before reinstalling the apps. Once reinstalled log back in with the exact same username and password and the entries shown on the website should sync back down to both devices. We can then test once more by logging an entry on both devices.
