Synchronization of MyFitnessPal data with Samsung Health ganesb — Jun 10, 2018 12:11PM PDT

Hello

I have MyFitnessPal on Samsung Galaxy S8+. I also use Gear S3 to count steps. I am an avid user of MyFitnessPal now with 200+ day streak. I am switching over to Galaxy and Gear S3 to track my exercise including step count. However, Samsung Health does not seem to get the information from MyFitnessPal. I have followed the recommendation in this community link:

However, this did not work for me. And honestly I don't understand why I need to activate all of the potential integration points. For example, I don't want exercise data from Samsung Health to be fed into MyFitnessPal since I get that information from Strava (in other words Strava feeds into both MyFitnessPal and Samsung Health). Nonetheless, I disconnected and connected the app back and I still have the same problem.

Note that Samsung Health is pushing the step data back to MyFitnessPal (or MyFitnessPal is pulling the information fine). What's not working is information like food intake, weight etc.

Looks like this is a problem that has been going on for a while...Is there any hope?

Thanks for posting and sorry for any trouble. It sounds like you have already run the gambit in terms of troubleshooting steps, if you have already tried disconnecting and relinking the apps, have uninstalled and reinstalled the apps, and have accepted the data points.

Unfortunately, some issues take a little longer to resolve than others. We don’t like when things aren’t working either and we will do what we can to locate the source and resolve it as soon as possible.
