Trouble Connecting FitBit to MyFitnessPal jeswells — Jun 14, 2018 12:11PM PDT
I have recently discovered that there is now a way to connect Fitbit to MFP. This is excellent news! However, I seem to be lacking in tech-skills enough to accomplish this task. I have tried on both a laptop and my Samsung smartphone and have had no luck. When I enter into MFP, devices, and try to add my Charge HR, it tells me that "you are already linked to Fitbit." I see no evidence of this in MFP. When I check the "connected" devices in the "apps & devices" it only shows my Gear Sport (I use the Fitbit more for running). I don't see an option in Fitbit to add MFP. Under my Fitbit account settings, I can see MFP under applications. I have tried restarting my phone and restarting my Fitbit. Both apps are up to date. Not sure what I'm missing here.
Thanks for your time,

Thanks for posting and sorry for any trouble. Please try closing the apps and then linking the accounts via the fitbit website, www.fitbit.com.

There isn't a way that I can see to add MFP from the Fitbit website. It only works in the opposite direction (adding Fitbit to MFP). Thanks for your input but it is still not working.

On the fitbit site, I believe you can link the apps via the Calories In/Out tile on the dashboard, when you have a tracking device paired with your account.
