How to use new premium time stamp feature - or turn it off featheradrift — Jul 05, 2018 04:33PM PDT

I am a premium user on Android, and just recently saw an update to include timestamps with my food entries. However, I don't see how this data is leveraged anywhere (mobile app Nutrition views of Calories, Nutrients, Macros, or web based reports or export, etc.).

How can I leverage this new feature to record a timestamp for analyzing my eating habits? Am I missing something?

To clarify, if this feature can't be used for analyzing my eating habits, then I would like to disable it. It adds to the time it takes to log an entry, and I previously used the ability to customize Meal Names to indicate time of day ("Breakfast - before 11a", "Lunch 11a - 1p", etc.). I can then review how I'm distributing my calories between meals under Nutrition > Calories > Total.

Hey thanks for posting your question. While the reporting aspect of the food timestamps is part of the bigger plan for the feature, it is not part of this initial launch. We will do what we can to bring these correlations to light in future updates. We really appreciate you taking a few minutes to share your feedback.

If you are not interested in using the feature at this time, you may disable the feature in the Settings. Start by opening the Menu screen, select Settings, followed by Diary Settings, and then uncheck the box for Show Food Timestamps.
