Misfit no longer syncing correctly. davidbreutzmann866 — Jul 13, 2018 01:47PM PDT

I have had both the MFP app, and a misfit tracker for 3-4 months now, and I like the combo, but for the last 2-3 days I have been unable to get them to sync properly.

Misfit can apparently read the food data i put into MFP, but MFP can not read anything from Misfit.

I have disconnected and reconnected the apps, fully deleted both apps from my phone and re-installed them... checked for updates of all kinds..

I'm just at my wit's end trying to figure this out.

Thanks for posting and sorry for the trouble with not receiving your steps from Misfit. Most users have let us know that food is still syncing from MFP to Misfit which usually indicates that the issue is on the Misfit side of things, however, we will be reaching out to them so we can work together to track down the source and get things straightened out as soon as possible.

Thank you for contacting us with your question. If you click on the MisfitCalorie Adjustment line in your diary, and then on Extra Calories Earned, we can look at the Misfit calories burned vs the MyFitnessPal Calories Burned. In order to see an adjustment the Misfit calories burned number must be higher. When you add an individual exercise entry, you’ll notice that you are already getting for credit for the exercise’s calorie burn in your calories remaining summary. In your adjustment detail it gets added to the MyFitnessPal number, reducing your Misfit calorie adjustment by the amount of yourindividual exercise entry, to avoid receiving double credit for the activity. If this makes the MyFitnessPal number greater the adjustment will go back to 0 until the Misfit number once again passes it.

I am having the exact same problem. No steps are showing up for the last 2 days. Above solution does not address the problem.

Thanks for posting and sorry for any trouble. When we view your account status we are seeing a step count of 7372 for yesterday, the 12th. While we do not see a step count for today, it does look like you have also relinked the accounts today. Please try tracking a few hundred new steps and then manually initiate a sync from both sides, starting with Misfit.

So far we are not seeing an issue on our end, however, we’ll keep an eye on things . You might also touch base with Misfit support to see if they can provide any additional insight.

I'm having the same problem. No dice trying all the options outlined above. Yesterday it only updated twice, and didn't get all of the stops to load for the day. Nothing shows up today.

I like having those Misfit exercise calories show up, because it makes me feel a little better about eating like nine bags of microwave popcorn at 10 PM.

Same problem here and they don't address the issue. They have a scripted answer for everyone. I'm not sure they even have a partnership with Misfit or any other app anymore. Everyone is having problems.

Still having the sync problem. Only worked briefly on the 12th of July. Nothing since then. Misfit wasn't really any help. Everything linked up and should be working. Please open a ticket to address this recent issue with steps tracking. Maybe something to do with new update?

My problem isn't that I don't understand how the app subtracts calories, it's that the steps are not syncing correctly.

When misfit says that I have in excess of 8,000 steps and myfitnesspal says 0 steps, the core problem I'm having isn't the calorie adjustment is lower than my base calories...

My misfit and myfitnesspal were working find until yesterday. Now they are not syncing. My misfit shows it is connected with myfitnesspal. But myfitnesspal will not let me connect to the misfit. It just brings me to the misfit webpage. Frustrating
