I see that you calculate my current weight based on my entries, but it is NOT accurate. Please offer an option to turn this off, it is counter productive.

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. MyFitnessPal does not currently calculate your current weight. Your current weight will be based off your most recent weight entry that you entered. If you believe there is an error, you can check your weight entries here.

If you are referring to the 5 week weight prediction, this uses your current weight as a starting point, and assuming that each diary day for the next five weeks will be just like the day you are completing. Please note, this is only an estimate used for motivational purposes. Weight loss does vary for each individual. Many users report that they have lost more weight than projected, while some lose less.

There is not a way to turn the weight prediction off, but it is not required to complete your Diary each day in order to use the program.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or feedback.

Regards,
Bruce
