enable negative adjustments sselasky759 — Feb 13, 2019 01:56PM PST

My Fitness Pal is paired with a Garmin. Up until today it was tracking steps accurately and now it's negative. I tried following instructions for enabling, but don't have that option.
What can I do?

Hi there,

How the integration will work is that you will see a positive adjustment only if you are projected to burn more than your MyFitnessPal Calories Burned, based off the current total Calorie burn from Garmin. Your MyFitnessPal Calories Burned are composed of two things: your estimate of calories burned per day MyFitnessPal makes based off your profile information plus any added exercises. If an exercise is added manually or from a partner, the MyFitnessPal Calories Burned increase and the adjustment will modify itself so that calories burned are not double counted.

Currently, you have enabled Negative Adjustments on your account, so when you are projected to burn less than your MyFitnessPal Calories Burned, you will see a negative adjustment and will lose Calories for the day. You can disable Negative Adjustments online here. Be sure to save your changes.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or feedback.

Regards,
Bruce
