Counting steps samanthabrianabruce9360 — Jun 11, 2019 12:56PM PDT

I have an iFitness bracelet and it counts my steps and sends them to the Health app on my iPhone and I wanted to take that information and be able to integrate it to myfitnesspal app but there are only a limited number of apps that are connectable for steps and the iFitness app isn't one. Is there a way to connect the Health app for steps? The Health app keeps track of my steps through the iFitness watch, but that information from the Health app isn't being added into the myfitnesspal app. Any idea on what I could do? Is there a way to just manually add steps?

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. We definitely plan on adding more integration partners to our program in the future. At this time, we do not know who those partners will be, but we will definitely take your recommendation into consideration when we do.

For the HealthKit integration, only steps from the Apple Watch will sync over to MyFitnessPal. For other partners that sync steps to HealthKit, those steps will not transfer to MyFitnessPal.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or feedback.
