Sync Issues between Fitnesspal & Fitbit android apps Aunt_Ryerye — Jun 12, 2019 10:04AM PDT

Trying to create new access token between Fitnesspal & fitbit apps per the sync issues reported on Monday June 10, 2019 . However Fitnesspal app isn't allowing me to disconnect (under apps & devices tab). I'm able to establish connection with other apps but not fitbit. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the fitnesspal app but still not able to disconnect.

Is this a known issue or are there other troubleshoots I can try?

Hi there,

We have refreshed the Fitbit connection from our end. Can you revoke access from Fitbit’s end and see if that will help? To do this, log in at www.fitbit.com and click the gear icon, then Settings>Applications. Click Revoke Access for MyFitnessPal.

This should refresh your link on both sides, instead of just one. You can then link them again at https://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps/show/30.

Once relinked, please be sure to set Fitbit as the Steps source once again.
