Absurdly high mobile data usage thinredpaste — Jun 14, 2019 12:46AM PDT

I installed this app for the first time on june 3rd, 10 days and a few hours ago. I'm running the Android version. In the last 10 days, it has used fully 800mb of mobile data - more than I typically use in an entire month. Just now, I checked the data use, left the app running on the settings screen for 3 or 4 minutes, and checked again. It had used another 5mb in that time, while it was doing nothing at all. I only ever go into the app long enough to log my food and check my calorie count, how could it be using this much data? It's also been killing my battery and causing my phone to get hot. What is this app DOING that's working my phone so hard, and how can I make it stop?
