Edit ingredients for a recipe already in the database Starryjewell — Jul 12, 2019 09:25AM PDT

Is there a way to edit ingredients for a recipe already in the database? Example: Searching "Chipotle Keto Salad" in the database provides numerous entries under the same (or similar) name, but I'd like to see and edit the ingredients in the recipe I select to record what I actually had in MY meal (in case it's different). Is there an option for that at this time?

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Currently there is not an option to view or change the ingredients for recipes in the MyFitnessPal database, but we will definitely consider it for a future update. Thank you for the suggestion.

If you have created your own recipe, you can view and edit the ingredients on the website and in the apps.

On the web, click Food>Recipes and then select the recipe to view or edit.

In the apps, under the Menu Bar or More tab tap Meals, Recipes, & Foods>Recipes and then select the Recipe to view. Tap Edit Recipe to see the ingredients and edit them.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or feedback.
