Hi dannypcurran,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Currently your MyFitnessPal account is connected to Facebook. You can see this if you login via web, select My Home > Settings > Facebook/Twitter Settings. It will give you an option to disconnect (because you are connected) and a selection of what things you would like to share with Facebook. While I’m not sure what exactly isn’t working for you, maybe these settings will help sort it out.

Also, you can have a separate password in order to logon. In order to do so, please follow these steps:

1 – Log in to our full website at http://www.myfitnesspal.com using Facebook, then go to My Home > Settings > Facebook/Twitter sharing settings and click “Disconnect” under the Facebook section.

2 – This will prompt you to create a password for your MyFitnessPal username

3 – Once that’s done, click “Connect” and re-enter your Facebook credentials.

4 – Now you can log in with your Facebook credentials where prompted, or with your MyFitnessPal username and password in those of our apps that do not currently support Facebook login.

Hope this helps! We wish you the best of luck in meeting and maintaining all your fitness goals!

Best,

Ripley

Hi LiLMsSuNsHiNeIsHeRe,

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. We can definitely help to try and get this figured out for you. Due to the fact that the trouble you are having is login specific, we may need additional information to verify the account and get additional private details. Since this is a public forum, posting those personal details is not something we recommend. Please contact us here, so we can triage this with you through email.

Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you soon!

Best,

Ripley
