Microsoft Band - Curious if this was fixed? robertwilkens — Jan 01, 2016 03:40PM PST
The current announcement on Microsoft Band issues says:
"Behavior: If you are using the Microsoft Band to track your daily steps as well as physical activity you may notice that your Calorie Adjustment is set back to 0 after performing an exercise.
Workaround: We would encourage you to stop tracking steps with the Microsoft band if you mainly use it to track your exercise (cycling, running, hiking, etc.)"
However, it seems since the update to the website/app that happened around Dec. 25 that since then I get separate credit for any exercises and steps pretty consistently (correctly, though throughout the day if i just sit and don't move, the microsoft band adjustment will slightly go down maybe 1-3 calories per hour, from where it was, probably because total daily burn is calculated differently which is fine). If it matters, I'm using a "Microsoft Band 2" (I still have the band 1 somewhere).
My only question, is it even possible it's been fixed, if so thank you!! If not, i suppose i've just gotten lucky that it's been working right for probably 5-7 days in a row now.
Happy New Year and thanks
