ticker won't display properly on my blog (external to myfitnesspal) thereemix — Jan 12, 2016 11:09PM PST
I created a weight loss ticker that I want to display on my personal blog. However, when I try to add the ticker to my blog, it doesn't show up. Instead, a generic myfitnesspal image will show. Why is this happening?

Hey thanks for posting your question. Please take a few minutes to review the steps for adding a ticker to your MyFitnessPal Blog and adding to an external blog to confirm that each has been completed correctly and you are still not seeing your ticker as expected.
To add the ticker onto your blog, first log into our website at http://www.myfitnesspal.com and then click on the “Apps” tab. Then click on sub tab Tickers ( or badge if that’s what you’d like) and choose “Get the code for your ticker”. Next click in the HTML box and copy the text.
To add the ticker onto your Wordpress blog, first log into our website at http://www.myfitnesspal.com and then click on the “Apps” tab. Then click on the sub tab Tickers ( or badge if that’s what you’d like) and choose “Get the code for your ticker”. Next click in the HTML box and copy the text.
Next, head over to your Wordpress and click on “Appearance” then choose “Widgets” from the left hand sidebar. From there, Next, drag the “text” widget, to the right and drop it on the section you want it to show up on. Paste the code you copied earlier into the text widget box that appears, and be sure to click on save before pressing close. Now visit your blog and make sure it’s showing up!
