Fitbit not connecting LisaD0115 — Sep 20, 2016 07:57PM PDT
I have a new fitbit and I cannot get MFP to recognize it and get the step count. It says they are connected - I've revoked and re added a few times. I made sure Fitbit is checked under how to count steps. Why won't MFP connect?

I have a new fit bit and it will not allow me to add it because my old one is still attached. How do I fix this?

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I have reviewed your account and everything seems to be syncing as expected. I can see a daily Fitbit adjustment in your Exercise Diary, most recently today, as of 12:07pm.
If your adjustment is showing a “0” this is because your total calorie burn from Fitbit has not surpassed the MyFitnessPal estimation AND you have not enabled Negative Fitbit Adjustments. You can read more about this here – https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1084233
Would you let me know where within the program you’re not seeing your step count? Is it in the Daily Summary on your Home Page? Is it with the Calorie Adjustment in your Exercise Diary? Any specific details would be helpful for us to understand what you are (or are not) seeing.
We look forward to hearing back.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. You will need to handle the removal of your old Fitbit tracker and adding of the new one on the Fitbit website/app. You should be able to find this information on the Fitbit help section of their website, or by contacting their support team.
I did google, how to setup a new Fitbit tracker, and was able to find this article. I believe the information you are looking for is under the “How Do I Set Up a Replacement Tracker or Add a Second Tracker to My Account?” section.
Hope this helps! We wish you the best of luck in meeting and maintaining all your fitness goals!
