Cannot Disconnect From "Fitbit Tracker" App zvass9589 — Sep 26, 2016 03:40PM PDT

Hey there,

I want to disconnect my fitbit so I can link it to a new MyFitnessPal account. I go under More>Apps & Devices and tap on "Fitbit Tracker," where I see I'm able to disconnect or buy the app. I tap the disconnect button, which generates a new text saying "connect," as if I had successfully disconnected. However, upon going back to Apps & Devices or exiting and re-opening the app, it says I am connected to Fitbit Tracker and prompts me to disconnect again.

So I ask, how am I supposed to disconnect MyFitnessPal from fitbit?

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. After checking the status of your accounts, we were able to disconnect the Fitbit integration from our end. We apologize for the inconvenience, but you should be able to now link your Fitbit to your new MyFitnessPal account.

Kind Regards,

Hey thanks for posting your question. Please try force closing both apps and then revoking access via their website, fitbit.com. If you are planning on relinking the accounts, please wait 15 minutes after revoking, before relinking the accounts on our site www.myfitnesspal.com. Oce relinked, don’t forget to reselect fitbit as your step source in MFP’s Steps tab.

Warm Regards,
