My fitbit is linked to MFP app on my Iphone7 plus mopsmom — Jan 09, 2017 12:07PM PST
Since my fitbit is linked to my MFP account, do I still need to log on MFP my exercise i do for each day? I am confused on the whole calorie adjustment topic. Thank you for any help anyone can give me.

Thank you for taking the time to post in the MyFitnessPal support center. You do not need to log the exercise in MyFitnessPal if it is trackable via your Fitbit wearable. For example if you go on a walk with your Fitbit on, we don’t recommend logging this exercise as it is included in your “adjustment”. Your adjustment is simply the calories that you’re burning above and beyond you’re expected daily calorie burn (BMR+Activity Level).
We calculate your base expected calorie burn by adding your BMR plus the calories that we expect you to burn from your day to day activities (Activity level / occupation).
If you’re going to go for a swim (or other non-trackable exercise), and not wear your Fitbit, then we recommend logging that exercise in MFP (since it wasn’t tracked by your Fitbit).
Hope this helps.
