Not synching with Fitbit CindyP923 — Jan 10, 2017 01:34PM PST

When I "connect" MFP to Fitbit, it says that I am already connected. And yet, the calories that I enter into MFP are not showing up on Fitbit. I recently got a new Fitbit and am wondering if it's connecting still to my old one? I'd like to connect my new Fitbit to MFP. Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

It appears that your Fitbit account was linked to another MyFitnessPal account. Please go ahead and try connecting once more.

You can link your Fitbit account from our website, or via iOS apps.

Once you have registered your Fitbit tracker and created an account at fitbit.com:

On the Web Log in to www.myfitnesspal.com, visit this link and click “Connect Accounts”, which should be directly under the “Buy” Option In our iOS apps Launch the MyFitnessPal app and go to the main Menu on the left hand side, then Scroll to “Apps & Devices”, scroll down to Fitbit Tracker, then hit the blue “Connect” button. You will be taken to a page at Fitbit.com where you can authorize the connection between your MyFitnessPal account and your Fitbit account. (If you are not already logged in at Fitbit.com, you will need to log in before you can complete the authorization).

If you are using one of our other apps, simply connect online and the connection will transfer to those apps.

Maximiliano

I've tried this and it says: "Another MyFitnessPal account has already been linked to this Fitbit account. Only one account can be linked at once." I went in and tried revoking it and then redoing. Still no luck.

ippieapple1,

We are so sorry that you are running into an issue connecting your accounts. It’s very possible that you may have accidentally created more than one MyFitnessPal account in the past, and your Fitbit is linked to a different account. Currently, you can only have Fitbit linked to one MyFitnessPal account at a time.

Would you mind trying to go to your Fitbit account, and then settings, then applications. find where your MyFitnessPal is currently linked, and hit the “revoke access” button. Then can you wait about 15 minutes, and then log into your current MyFitnessPal account, then go to the main “apps” tab, find Fitbit and try linking the accounts again.

If you continue to run into the a problem, please let us know.

Kind Regards,
Maximiliano

jillsomm,

After looking into the status of your account, there is not a Fitbit account linked.

You can link your Fitbit account from our website, or via iOS apps.

Once you have registered your Fitbit tracker and created an account at fitbit.com:

Log in to www.myfitnesspal.com, visit this link and click “Connect Accounts”, which should be directly under the “Buy” Option
