The math is wrong? betheats — Jan 20, 2017 10:59AM PST

If I have a goal of 1200 calories a day and I have eaten 254 calories so far, why is the 'calories remaining' at 1173? Is it adding in (or subtracting) the exercise calories? I am confused - this is my FIRST entry on this site - I came over from Calorie Count - been there for 11 years. I'm sorry it is shutting down but I hope this site will be a acceptable substitute. Any thoughts?

Hello betheats,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. In reviewing your account, I am seeing constant correct calculations. As of 10:48am PST, I am seeing a calorie goal of 1200 calorie goal, 254 food calories logged, and a remaining calorie count of 946. I’m seeing this same calculation across multiple areas of the program (via web).

Would you let me know what you are seeing on what platform? (Web, iOS app, or Android app)
Are you seeing the same miscalculation on your Homepage and in your Food Diary? Only in one of those two, but correctly in the other? Or are you seeing the discrepancy in a completely different area of the program.

We look forward to hearing back.

Best,
