Please, PLEASE allow us to disable the push notification "tell your friend nice job on their workout redreplicant — Feb 23, 2017 11:18AM PST
I see several questions have been asked about this. Your staff consistently responds that a user can disable this push notification by going to settings and "unchecking" that option. THERE IS NO OPTION FOR THIS NOTIFICATION IN SETTINGS. NONE.
I am just unfriending everyone who does a workout now, because it's so annoying. Way to tank your community with a garbage "feature." Let us opt out!

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.
We are looking into an update that will give users more freedom over customizing these notifications.

how does that feature even work? i have been getting notifications like that. where do they come from and how do people send them? why can someone send a message like that to me and not directly to my friend? is there any way to find out who is sending them??

These notifications are automatically generated by the program.
They will alert you that your friends have hit certain goals within MyFitnessPal.
Hope this helps to clarify,

Couldn't agree more with the original poster. Those notifications are a pain in the keister.
