App not synching properly, recipe list will not load minuvweyna — Mar 08, 2017 07:01AM PST

A couple days ago the MyFitnessPal app stopped loading recipes, it looks like it's trying to synch, but the recipe list never appears (foods and meals seem to load just fine). I then ran a software update on my phone (HTC One M8), but this did not resolve the problem (I am running Android v6.0 (6.12.401.4)) now.

I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, and a partial list of recipes appeared, but several were missing that I use regularly. When I navigated away from the recipe window and then tried to return, the list once again would not load. The only way to get it to load (and only once each time), is to uninstall and reinstall the app. There seems to be no way to get the missing recipes to appear. All the recipes appear just fine on the website. The recipes have been entered manually, mostly on the app, but a few on the website. I'm certain some of the missing recipes were entered on the app, and some of those that appear were entered on the website, so I don't think it's an issue where the app can only load recipes that were entered in the app originally.

I can add foods to my diary using the app, but not any of the missing recipes. I can add foods to my diary, including the missing recipes, using the website, and they will eventually show up on the app but the recipe still does not appear on the recipe list (when I can get it to load) or the search function when adding foods to the dairy. The website doesn't function fully when viewed on a mobile, so updating ingredient quantities is no longer possible using my phone by any method.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'd really rather not have to find a new app and recreate all the recipes I've spent ages entering into your program.

I've been having this same problem. I hope it's fixed soon, because I rely on the recipes list on the app very heavily.
