Fit bit unsync every mornining anthonygarofali — Apr 16, 2017 05:49AM PDT

Every morning I have trouble with MFP sync with my Fit bit. I have to disconnect the account and reconnect them. Once everything is wrong it runs perfectly through the day, but the next morning I have to go through that same process.

Is there a setting I am missing? This has become a real pain!

Thanks for posting. Sorry for the trouble with your fitbit integration. When we view your account status we are currently seeing that your fitbit has reported 2427 steps and 1368 calories burned as of 8:51 am. We are showing that you are receiving an adjustment for 475 calories for your tracked activity. Please follow up with us if you are not seeing the adjustment line on your end or if the amount reported by fitbit in your adjustment details does not match what is showing in your fitbit dashboard for the same time.

You mentioned that you have been relinking the accounts each morning. If you have already relinked today and that is why we are seeing steps this morning, please leave the accounts linked and follow up with us tomorrow so we ca see the issue.

Keep in mind that the calorie adjustment is not showing your tracked exercise calories but rather the amount by which your total calorie burn for the day has exceeded our calculation for your day to day calorie burn. This means that your adjustment line will show as 0 until you have earned the extra calories in the form of an adjustment.

Warm Regards,

Yes I did drink the accounts this morning and that is why I am seeing an update. It is now 5:38pm and I have not received any adjustments since 8:51am. I even tried to force sync and update from my fitbit, but MFP does not recognize it. I am getting the meal entries from MFP to my fitbit.

Thank you,

Thanks for following up with us with the additional details.

Several users have let us know that fitbit recently updated their firmware, a couple days ago, which is the same time that they started experiencing the trouble. Would you please let us know if you have made any updates to your trackers firmware or either of the apps, just prior to the start of the sync issues?

Warm Regards,
Logan

I just bought the fitbit on April 14th. When I was setting it up it did run through a update cycle.

Is there any way to for this?

Thanks for posting and sorry for any trouble with your fitbit integration. We’re currently investigating the issue which has caused steps from fitbit to stop syncing around Saturday 4/15. Some users have let us know that the issue started shortly after they updated the firmware on their tracker. We are still investigating to confirm the source of the problem but if you started having trouble after updating your tracker or the fitbit app, you may also want to touch base with their team to see if they have any additional insight to offer.

We will do what we can to get things straightened out as soon as possible. If you would like to follow the issue in the meantime, please click here anytime to view the known issues page for our integration partners. We’ll update this page when progress is made on the issue.

Warm Regards,
