Thank you for taking the time to contact us. If you are looking for friends or a workout buddy, we suggest visiting our forums. You can access the forums from our website by clicking on the community tab at the top, or from our apps by clicking “more,” then click “community.”

We encourage users to post in “Introduce yourself” if you’re looking for new friends. You can either join an existing discussion or create a new one. If you’d like to make a new discussion, click on the green “Create” button on the site, or on the pencil icon in the app to get started.

In addition to our forums, we offer a “Groups” feature online. You can make your own group, or join and existing group. In groups, you can find users with similar interests. To access groups, click on the “Groups” sub tab on the website, or on the text bubble icon on the app.

Another way to find friends is to click “Find Members” under the “Community” tab. In this section, you can find more specific types of friends. You can search for age, gender, location, etc. This feature is only available on the website. There, you can search for members in your age group or area and invite them to be your friend. Please do not get discouraged if you do not hear back from them. We have many members who prefer to be private, but we also have many that are looking for friends.

All the best,
MyFitnessPal Staff
