Turn off calorie adjustment genghiskhen — Apr 17, 2017 03:39PM PDT

I use a Garmin Connect to sync my workouts with MFP. Now it does this stupid calorie adjustment that is wildly off because I work out in the morning. Is there any way to turn this off and still sync my activities like it used to? This completely ruins MFP.

Hey thanks for posting your question. There’s not currently a way to pick which parts of the integration sync and which do not. The only thing I can think of would be to select Don’t Track Steps in MyFitnessPal’s Steps tab which may disable the adjustment but we can’t guarantee that the exercises will still come over.

I have always had "Don't Track Steps" checked but now for some reason it automatically reverts to tracking my fitbit steps and adding those calories. I go in and change it back to don't track steps and the next time I go back into the app it has reverted back to tracking steps. Can you please tell me how to make this change permanent?

Thanks for following up with us. We are aware of the problem with the step source automatically reverting to the linked partner app, and are currently investigating. We hope to have a fix in place as soon as possible. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
