How do I turn off alerts to congratulate people? starfruitbiscuit — Apr 17, 2017 03:58PM PDT
My MFP app icon on my iOS devices keeps tacking on a little red number, like I have some kind of message. I go to the app, and all it wants is to tell to congratulate someone for losing weight or burning calories. I don't mind being connected to people, but I really don't want to be notified and then TOLD to congratulate someone for something. If I want to see how others are doing, I can just go to their feed and look. It's ruining my experience of the app to keep checking in thinking there is something important meant by that red notice, only to find I'm just having my day interrupted so I can be told to interact with people. I have searched and searched for a way to turn this off, to no avail. Do I really have to unfriend everyone to avoid this nonsense?

Yep, I just unfriend everyone because I was sick the notifications too.

This is ridiculous. The community is too big to force me to receive multiple notifications every day to congratulate someone for logging in. I'm turning off all notifications until this is remedied.

I have done the same. Logged in just so UA/ MFP could see this.
Users don't want these alerts/ notifications!
