Are you limited on how many food items you can edit? epicculinary1979 — Apr 19, 2017 03:29PM PDT

When I try to edit an existing item, it says my changes are saved but they are not there when I refresh the page. Previously my changes were showing up immediately

Hey thanks for posting your question. No there is not a limit to how many foods you can edit. Would you please let us know the name of one of the foods that you have trie to edit recently, the exact steps that you took, and the changes that were made, so we may attempt to replicate the issue on our end?

Warm Regards,
Logan

Sure. Here's one I just tried:
Brand: Epic (Black Dragon)
Food Description: Lemon Blueberry Cake

I tried editing this just a minute ago by changing the Serving Size field from "1 serving" to "1 piece". I then put "Testing" in the Edit Summary, clicked Save Changes and got the "Changes Saved" message. When I go back to look at the item, it still lists "1 serving" as the serving size.

I've tried this using the same account on two different computers using two different browsers as well (Internet Explorer and Google Chrome). Consequently, if I log in as a different account and try to do the same edit (on a separate item--not the example I posted above) it saves fine.

Some extra info--it seems to have stopped working after I edited my ~50th item today

Hello,

Thanks for following up with us and our apologies for the confusion. After a certain period of time, your email case gets systematically resolved in our system. This does not mean that the ticket created for the trouble you are having has been resolved, only that this thread of correspondence has been completed. I assure you we are continuing to work on your reported issue.

When attempting to reproduce the issue we were successfully able to edit the entry via the website on our end, and so far it has not changed back. Please follow up with us if you see it revert back to “1 serving.”

Warm Regards,
Logan

As I mentioned in another post, I'm able to edit somewhere around 50 things a day and then my edits stop saving. It's not one item I'm having an issue with, it's editing things in bulk that's my problem

Thanks for following up with us. I double-checked with our engineers and it turns out there actually is a 50 item limit in the code, which I was unaware of. My apologies for the oversight on my part and the inconvenience of having to follow up here in the forums to get confirmation. We really appreciate your bringing it up here as the info may help others whom are experiencing the behavior as well.

Warm Regards,
