Steps calorie adjustment martijntulp — May 17, 2017 01:22AM PDT

Before, when I used MyFitnessPal, whenever I did steps this would be adjusted in my daily calories. This is not the case anymore. I don't remember changing a setting though I did get a new iPhone (but restored everything from a backup).

How do I make sure that any steps I take contribute to calories burned?

Hey thanks for posting your question. Sorry for any confusion regarding your calorie adjustment. The calorie adjustment is not showing your tracked exercise calories but rather the amount by which your total calorie burn for the day has exceeded our calculation for your day to day calorie burn. This means that your adjustment line will show as 0 until you have earned the extra calories in the form of an adjustment.

For more insight into how the calorie adjustments work, please click here

When we view your account status we are currently seeing that your iOS steps has reported 13,225 steps and we are showing that you are receiving an adjustment for 432 calories for your tracked activity. Please follow up with us if you are not seeing the same for the adjustment line on your end.

Warm Regards,
