Fitbit calorie adjustment woodhot — Aug 02, 2017 01:28PM PDT
Why is my fitbit calorie adjustment so inconsistent?
For example Monday I logged 14149 steps and had a calorie adjustment of 491.
On Tuesday, I logged only slightly more 16348 but had a calorie adjustment of 1025. What's more early in the day I looked I already had approximately 500 calorie adjustment for just 7000 steps.
Similarly, on Sunday I logged 11296 steps with a calorie adjustment of 228.
Today I have only walked 9405 steps and already have a calorie adjustment of 230.
I'm very confused. Please explain why this is happening or if there is a way to fix it.

Hey thanks for posting your question. Sorry for any confusion regarding your calorie adjustment. The calorie adjustment is not showing your tracked exercise calories but rather the amount by which your total calorie burn for the day has exceeded our calculation for your day to day calorie burn. This means that your adjustment line will show as 0 until you have earned the extra calories in the form of an adjustment.
If you would also like to track your steps with your device, please open the Steps tab in the Menu screen and select it as your source for steps tracking
