Fitbit - Running tdgianni27 — Aug 03, 2017 12:53PM PDT

Why is it, when I go for a run, tracking with my Fitbit, myfitnesspal doesn't log it as a run. It's only give me more steps?

Hey thanks for posting your question. Sorry for any confusion regarding your calorie adjustment. The calorie adjustment is not showing your tracked exercise calories but rather the amount by which your total calorie burn for the day has exceeded our calculation for your day to day calorie burn. This means that your adjustment line will show as 0 until you have earned the extra calories in the form of an adjustment.

If you would also like to track your steps with your device, please open the Steps tab in the Menu screen and select it as your source for steps tracking

That doesn't really answer my question - on my news feed, it says "tell cdaniel great job for running blah blah blah" How come after I run that doesn't show up on my feed or other's feed also?

Thanks for following up with us. Sorry if the previous reply did not address your concern. With the fitbit integration, they only send us your total calories and not your individually tracked exercises. So you will not see individual line item in your diary for your fitbit tracked exercises, which would then trigger the news feed posts.
