How are the calories figured? lorzol — Sep 06, 2017 08:34AM PDT

I noticed the calories do not match up when you convert grams of CHO, protein, and fat to total calories provided for the foods..
4 cal = 1 gram of CHO
4 cal = 1 grams of protein
9 cal = 1 gram fat

I wonder how this site figured it out because it isn't accurate if you were to consider the grams and convert them all into calories, the site is lower than the actual calories are. I just wonder why that is? Am I missing something?
