Fitbit Steps not Syncing to MFP mk1002 — Sep 07, 2017 01:29PM PDT

Hi,

I've been trying for a few days now to get my FitBit and MFP accounts to sync.

I have tried: revoking permissions on the FitBit website, disabling the Fitbit MFP app, waiting 15 minutes, resetting my phone, and resetting my FitBit.

Are there any other solutions I can try to get the sync working?

Thank you!

Hey thanks for posting your question. Looking at your account status, we are seeing that the accounts have recently been relinked, today. Please try logging a few hundred new steps with your fitbit, and then manually initiating a sync in fitbit, followed by another in MyFitnessPal.

Warm Regards,

Thank you for your help! I just logged a little over 200 steps and forced a sync in Fitbit and then MFP. Unfortunately, I'm still not seeing any steps in MFP.

Thanks for following up with us. We’re disconnecting the accounts on our end, just in case there was something was causing a hiccup over here. Please attempt to relink the accounts via the fitbit website, then confirming they are showing in the Apps tab at www.myfitnesspal.com, and reselecting fitbit as your source in Steps. Again, you will want to log a few hundred new steps and then try manually syncing on both ends. Please let us know if you are still not seeing them afterwards.

I revoked access on the Fitbit website and then followed the steps you listed. I'm still not seeing anything. :(

Thanks for following up with us. Would you please check fitbit.com to confirm that your activity and step count are syncing from the fitbit app to the fitbit site and are matching with no delay? Then click here to reach us via email, marking it Attn: Logan, and attach a screenshot of your activity, for today, being displayed on the fitbit website?

Warm Regards,

I never actually looked at the Fitbit dashboard -- I had two accounts! I think I logged in online with Facebook and then used that email account when I downloaded the app. Everything's syncing now. Thanks again for all of your help! :)
