HI, my calorie adjustment doesn't seem to be updating. It just shows -20 each day.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding your calorie adjustments.

Though this feature is designed to reduce your calories remaining when you are less active than anticipated, it will not do so when your calorie goal is already at the recommended calorie minimum. We do not recommend that women consume fewer than 1200 calories per day, or men fewer than 1500 calories per day, unless advised to do so by their physician or nutritionalist. Eating too little can produce negative health effects.‚Äč

Since we have this limitation, your negative adjustment may be reduced to keep you from going below the minimum. If so you will see this noted in your Calorie Adjustment details. When using the app you will click on the Calorie Adjustment line to view the details, while on the website you would click the “i” next to Calorie Adjustment in your Exercise Diary. If the negative adjustment has been reduced, you will see a message below MyFitnessPal Calories Burned, letting you know.

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other problems or questions. We wish you all the success in reaching and maintaining all of your diet and fitness goals.
