Disconnecting from Facebook Login chagascruzi — Sep 28, 2017 02:32PM PDT

I am trying too disconnect from Facebook login and switch too an email and password login. When I select Disconnect, a pop up asks me to create a password. I input my password and select continue, and it does not proceed from there. What needs to be done so that I can switch from Facebook login to email and password login? It looks that I am doing everything on my part correct and that the issue is a system issue.

Thanks for posting and sorry for any trouble. If you are still experiencing this issue when attempting to disconnect facebook on the website, you should be able to disconnect it in our mobile app. If you do not have access to the app or are having difficulty with the app, please let is know if it would be alright if we access your account in order to disconnect it in the app for you.

Thanks for posting and sorry for any trouble. Please try using the forgot password option on the log in screen and then enter your MyFitnessPal username: chagascruzi. An email will be sent to your associated email account.

Thanks for following up with us. Sorry for the trouble with unlinking your facebook account. Would you please also try going into the Apps section in your fb Settings and revoking access for MyFitnessPal there. Once showing as removed there, please then try the forgot password option once more and let us know whether you are still experiencing the issue.

Any luck getting this resolved, I tried disconnecting from 3 different browsers, tried removing the permission in facebook and still connected through facebook. I would like to be able to log into my account without the facebook authentication. Super frustrating since I pay for the upgraded membership.

I'm having the same exact problem. I have tried on android chrome, windows chrome, and windows edge. I have removed MyFitnessPal from my facebook account, and still I cannot disconnect. I need to disconnect and set a password so the app I use to monitor weight can sync with MyFitnessPal.
